Dr Mohamed Farghaly is a highly experienced Consultant in Family Medicine at United Medical Center, Dubai, with over 30 years of experience working in the UAE, UK and Ireland. He completed his medical degree at Alexandria University, Egypt in 1980. He later moved to Europe and completed a Diploma in International Health recognised by the Royal College of General Practitioners of Ireland in 1994. Dr Farghaly is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners (UK) and holds a DMSc degree in Diabetes from the University of South Wales (UK).
In 2002, Dr Farghaly was appointed as Manager of Primary Health Care in the Department of Health and Medical Service. In 2006, he became the Head of Chronic Care of the Primary Health Care Services Sector (PHCSS-DHA) in Dubai and was reallocated to Director of Health Insurance in 2014.
